Navigate your Protodesk workspace

Learn where to find conversations, knowledge, AI tools, Help Center content, and workspace settings.

Updated

Protodesk keeps its main support tools in a consistent left-hand navigation so you can move between conversations, knowledge, and customer-facing content without losing context.

  • Threads — read and reply to customer conversations.
  • Browse — explore support activity and customer context.
  • Knowledge — maintain trusted information your team can reuse.
  • AI — access AI-assisted support tools.
  • Help Center — create, organize, and publish customer-facing articles.
  • Settings — manage workspace-level configuration and preferences.

Help Center navigation

When you open Help Center, a second navigation appears:

  • Overview shows the current Help Center state.
  • Articles contains collections, drafts, and published articles.
  • Settings controls publication, languages, identity, and the Help Center URL.
  • Widget controls the customer-facing Live Chat experience.

A simple daily workflow

  1. Start in Threads to review new customer messages.
  2. Check Knowledge when an answer needs trusted internal context.
  3. Improve or create a Help Center article when a question is likely to be asked again.
  4. Return to Settings only when you need to change workspace configuration.

Keeping internal knowledge and customer-facing articles current makes both your team and Protodesk's AI assistance more reliable.
