Manage your Protodesk email preferences
Choose which product, billing, team, operational, digest, and promotional emails you receive from Protodesk.
Updated
Email preferences control account and product messages sent to you by Protodesk. They do not turn the workspace's customer support email channel on or off.
Change your preferences
- Open Settings → Email Preferences.
- Turn each category on or off.
- Select Save preferences.
Preferences are personal to your account. Changing them does not change what teammates receive.
Available categories
- Product updates includes welcome messages, trial reminders, daily digest messages, and feature announcements.
- Billing notifications includes plan changes, receipts, payment issues, and credit alerts.
- Team activity includes invitations, role changes, and workspace membership updates.
- Operational alerts includes bounce warnings, DNS issues, and channel disconnects.
- Weekly digest summarizes ticket volume, AI activity, and team metrics.
- News & promotions includes product launches, webinars, and offers.
Security and billing-critical messages can still be delivered when required to operate or protect the account.
Email preferences versus notification settings
Use Email Preferences for Protodesk account, product, and digest emails. Use Settings → Notifications to choose how conversation, SLA, AI, billing, team, Knowledge, and CSAT events reach you through in-app, email, Slack, or push channels.
If you receive too many workflow alerts, adjust Notifications rather than disabling product emails. If you want fewer announcements or summaries, adjust Email Preferences.
