Configure notification delivery
Choose notification channels by category, set quiet hours, and schedule your daily digest.
Updated
Notification settings control how operational events reach you. You can choose channels by category, suppress email and push during quiet hours, and combine unread events into a daily digest.
Choose delivery channels
- Open Settings → Notifications.
- Review each category: Conversations, SLA, AI, Billing, Team, Knowledge, and CSAT.
- Turn Email, Slack, or Push on or off for each category.
- Select Save preferences.
In-app notifications are always recorded and cannot be disabled from this matrix. Channel choices are personal unless the setting is explicitly labeled workspace-wide.
Set quiet hours
Enable Quiet hours, then choose a start and end time. Protodesk suppresses email and push notifications during that window while continuing to record in-app notifications.
Quiet hours use your account timezone. Check the timezone in your account settings if notifications pause at an unexpected time.
Use the daily digest
Enable Daily digest and choose a delivery time. The digest sends one email per day summarizing unread events from the previous 24 hours. The selected time also uses your account timezone.
The digest is useful when an event does not require an immediate response. Keep direct alerts enabled for urgent categories such as SLA warnings if waiting for a daily summary would be too late.
Connect Slack for workspace alerts
Workspace admins can add a Slack incoming-webhook URL under Slack integration. Protodesk uses it for SLA breaches and AI escalations. This setting applies to the workspace, so confirm the destination channel before saving it.
[!WARNING]
Treat webhook URLs like credentials. Do not paste one into an article, conversation, or public channel.
