Customize your public Help Center
Configure your Help Center identity, languages, publication status, and public Protodesk address.
Updated
Use Help Center settings to control what customers see, which languages are available, and where your public articles live.
Open Help Center settings
- Open Help Center.
- Select Settings.
Configure publication
The Publication section controls whether customers can access your public Help Center. Keep it unpublished while you are preparing content, then publish it when the first useful collection is ready.
Unpublishing the Help Center removes public access without deleting your collections or articles.
Configure languages
Use Languages to choose the languages available to customers and set the default language.
- Keep one default language for visitors who have not chosen another language.
- Enable an additional language only when you are ready to maintain its customer-facing content.
- Review translations whenever the source article changes.
Update the Help Center identity
The Help Center identity controls the public name and description shown to visitors.
Use a concise name and describe what customers can find. For Protodesk, the recommended values are:
- Name: Protodesk Help Center
- Description: Guides and answers for setting up Protodesk, supporting customers, and getting the most from Live Chat, Knowledge, AI, and the Help Center.
Review the Help Center URL
Protodesk provides a public Help Center address. Review it before sharing links with customers, because stable URLs are important for bookmarks and search results.
The official Protodesk Help Center is available at https://help.protodesk.io.
